Cozumel Beach 11-24-2017
Stopping in Cozumel during a Caribbean cruise, I took a long walk down the windward coast away from the crowded resorts. The natural beach here felt raw and untouched, with steady rolling waves crashing against ancient coral ledges. It was a great stretch of sand to unplug, listen to the surf, and capture the natural textures of the coastline.
The composition captures turquoise waves rolling ashore and breaking into frothy white wash along the pristine sand. A rugged limestone rock outcropping anchors the right side of the frame, providing strong earthy texture against the vibrant blue waters and puffy white clouds.
