Fall Foliage 10-17-2015
Visiting family during mid-October offered a great opportunity to take a quick photo walk around the yard to check out the colors. While looking through the tree branches, a single golden maple leaf caught direct sunlight, framed nicely against a soft, colorful backdrop of turning autumn foliage all around.
The composition isolates the crisp five-pointed maple leaf, glowing in bright amber yellow under angled afternoon light. Fine leaf vein patterns and serrated margins stand out with razor sharpness, balanced by creamy green, blue, and gold bokeh in the blurred background trees on a clear autumn afternoon.
