London Eye 10-31-2026

Back in August of 2026, I traveled to the United Kingdom for a work trip and set aside some downtime to walk around London with my camera. While crossing Westminster Bridge, the view opened up across the River Thames. The London Eye stood tall against a bright afternoon sky, framed by scattered white clouds. The city was buzzing, but from the bridge, the structure felt crisp and balanced against the open water.

The lighting worked out well with the sun hitting the white steel framework and glass passenger pods directly. Down below, a tour boat and river tugs kicked up gentle wakes along the brown surface of the Thames, while County Hall and modern architecture anchored the right side of the frame. The deep blue sky gave the entire scene strong contrast and sharp clarity. It turned out to be one of my favorite architectural captures from the trip, and it scales cleanly across screens of all sizes.
