Kitty Cat Cupcakes 9-15-2017
My wife put together these custom cat cupcakes for a local ASPCA fundraiser, and the finished batch looked too good not to photograph before heading out the door. Each one took quite a bit of patience to assemble, using shredded coconut for fluffy fur and sculpted candy accents to build out quirky feline faces.
The macro composition frames the cupcakes in a tight cluster, zeroing in on the piped chocolate whiskers, white chocolate ears, and candy bead noses. Soft ambient kitchen light catches the texture of the coconut flakes without blowing out the highlights, creating a warm, playful close-up that works great across desktop screens.
