Watching the sunset fade behind Lower Manhattan from out on the water was a memorable experience on a chilly late November evening. Just as the sun dipped behind the western horizon line, a burst of intense golden light broke below the dark cloud ceiling, illuminating the city towers in brilliant warm relief.
