Housatonic River 4-5-2014

Standing out over the Housatonic River from Bulls Bridge in Falls Village, Connecticut, the cold winter air was biting but the landscape was completely peaceful. Fresh powdery snow covered every rock ledge along the river gorge, while floating chunks of shelf ice drifted steadily down the dark, freezing current below.
