Belize Sunrise 12-14-2015
Standing out on the open deck as the morning sun drifted upward gave a completely unobstructed view of the open ocean right before arriving in a Belize port. With nothing on the horizon but water and sky, the sea took on a peaceful stillness that made it easy to simply pause and watch the light shift.
The composition is cleanly centered around the bright sun casting a brilliant golden corridor of light straight across the surface ripples of the water. Rich amber and warm yellow hues gently graduate into soft slate tones at the edges, offering a minimalist, balanced seascape that looks clean and uncluttered across wide displays.
