Stormy Epcot 11-6-2017

An evening thunderstorm rolled across Epcot right as dusk settled over the park grounds. I set up my camera near the central plaza fountain just as the park lighting kicked on, timing the exposure to catch the geodesic sphere illuminated beneath the dark Florida rain clouds. Capturing theme park architecture right before a heavy downpour always brings out incredible natural atmosphere.

Spaceship Earth glows with soft violet and white light directly behind the center fountain jets, framed symmetrically by modern canopy wings and tall palm trees. Dark storm clouds fill the dramatic upper sky, creating a moody, high-contrast backdrop against the brightly lit entrance plaza.
