Collared Lemurs 7-28-2017
During a walk through Disney’s Animal Kingdom near the Tree of Life, I spotted these two collared lemurs curled up together on a small wooden platform. They were resting peacefully in the canopy, keeping a curious watch on the trail below. It was a great opportunity to pause along the walkway and capture their calm demeanor in natural light.
The tight framing captures the rich golden-brown fur and expressive dark faces of the pair nestled against rough tree bark. Dappled sunlight filters through the overhead leaves, picking up warm amber tones in their eyes and softening the lush green backdrop.
