Fantasy Cave 5-26-2017
Taking a guided tour through Fantasy Cave at Bermuda’s Crystal Caves complex felt like stepping into an underground world hidden deep beneath the island. Walking along the wooden boardwalk deep below ground level revealed a remarkably clear subterranean lake illuminated by low-voltage halogen spotlights placed throughout the cavern.
Rough limestone cavern walls and hanging mineral stalactites frame the composition, showing warm amber and ochre rock textures above. Beneath the rock ceiling, the calm surface of the pool reveals vibrant turquoise water so transparent you can see the submerged formations resting on the bottom in full crisp detail below the surface.
