Fossil Watch 3-3-2016
Macro photography reveals the fine precision and mechanical craftsmanship built into everyday personal gear. I mounted a dedicated macro lens to get right against the crystal of this Fossil timepiece, carefully angling the studio lighting to eliminate unwanted surface glare while bringing out all the fine typography across the dial.
The composition delivers an intimate view of the watch face, highlighting the bold white branding, stark index markers, and clean white minute ticks encircling the inner bezel. The prominent knurled steel winding crown and textured date window at three o’clock provide rugged industrial contrast against the deep matte black background.
