Clover 7-14-2014
While taking a break in the backyard on a bright July afternoon, I crouched down low in the grass to grab a macro shot of the clover patches. Even without finding a rare four-leaf stem, the fresh summer foliage made for a great photographic subject. Getting right down at ground level completely transforms everyday lawn growth into an intricate miniature landscape.
This close-up focuses on a three-leaf clover in sharp detail, highlighting the subtle chevron patterns across each vibrant green leaf. Soft, out-of-focus lawn clover blurs smoothly into the background, providing clean contrast, soft organic textures, and natural depth.
