Chocolate Point Himalayan 7-9-2014

ByKicking Designs

Photographing a rambunctious eleven-week-old kitten always requires quick reflexes and a whole lot of patience. Getting down right at floor level on the hardwood while she played in a warm patch of morning sunlight gave me the perfect angle to capture an adorable, candid moment right after mealtime.

The composition captures the fluffy Chocolate Point Himalayan kitten licking her nose with her pink tongue sticking straight up. Warm natural sunlight backlights her soft white fur and wispy ears, highlighting her round blue eyes and rich chocolate face mask against the warm wooden floor and dark living room background behind her.
