Bar Lights 12-9-2013

Walking into a dimly lit lounge aboard the Norwegian Breakaway immediately catches my eye for atmospheric lighting compositions. Hanging low above the dark counter, these intricate patterned glassware pendants cast a warm, comforting amber glow across the interior space, offering an inviting break from the brisk ocean breeze out on deck.

A shallow depth of field isolates the faceted crystal glass globes in the center, letting neighboring pendant fixtures melt into soft golden bokeh circles. The rich honey and amber tones bring tremendous warmth to the frame, while the geometric glass facets refract the small incandescent filament bulbs into sharp specular highlights.
