Calm Waters 12-12-2013
Standing along the upper deck railing while docked at port in Nassau gave me a clear top-down view of the ocean. Looking straight down into the shallow harbor, the midday sun lit up the seabed and turned the water into vibrant bands of blue without any coastline or boats in the frame.
The shot acts as a clean, minimalist abstract background focused entirely on color and ripple texture. Deep sapphire blue along the lower half gradually blends into bright turquoise and cyan toward the top.
