Late autumn garden beds often showcase warm, earthy tones that contrast nicely with the brisk November chill. I framed this vibrant orange dahlia blossom up close, angling the shot slightly from above to capture how natural ambient light filtered through each layered petal. The macro framing allowed me to eliminate distracting surroundings and focus purely on color and form.
The photograph emphasizes rich orange and gold petals fanning out around an intricate, dome-shaped yellow disk floret. Soft side lighting catches the subtle grooves along each petal surface, giving the bloom great dimension and warmth, balanced by a hint of deep purple foliage softly blurring in the top-right corner.
