WW2 Tank 5-13-2013
Historic military hardware carries an undeniable presence, especially when parked outdoors among New England woods. I came across this vintage M41 Walker Bulldog tank display and worked low with a wide-angle lens to emphasize its steel silhouette. Toning the photograph in vintage sepia helped mute modern distractions and honor the vehicle’s historical mid-century heritage.
The low three-quarter angle highlights the long main gun barrel reaching outward, grounded by heavy steel treads, drive sprockets, and rugged road wheels. A bold white Allied-style star stands out cleanly on the armored turret against bare woodland trees in the background. The rich sepia conversion gives the entire machine a classic, timeless battlefield feel.
