Five Finger Death Punch 11-17-2017
Covering Five Finger Death Punch from the photo pit at Mohegan Sun Arena always delivers an adrenaline-fueled workout behind the lens. Vocalist Ivan Moody commanded the front monitor boxes all night, crouching low to belt out lyrics and point directly toward fans in the crowd. Anticipating his sudden stage movements amidst flashing arena spotlights made capturing this sharp, authoritative stance immensely satisfying.
Moody is captured crouched on an onstage riser with his mic gripped tight, pointing intently forward in a basketball jersey and camo cargo pants. Detailed arm sleeve tattoos and intense facial grit stand out under cool cyan and electric blue stage washes. Warm vertical stage lights illuminate the arena backdrop, creating crisp separation that highlights his aggressive heavy metal performance.
