Exploring abandoned buildings always puts you face to face with layers of forgotten history and eerie silence. Stepping inside this vaulted hall, the heavy quiet was immediate, interrupted only by the crunch of old plaster beneath my boots and the muted daylight slicing through the weathered back doorway. There is something compelling about watching nature and time gradually dismantle human construction.
The wide focal length accentuates the curving barrel-arched ceiling, which is covered in deep cracks and flaking plaster. Faded mint-green walls balance against the warm light spilling in from the rear opening, while a rusted metal storage locker and scattered floor debris anchor the foreground with tactile, industrial texture.
