Barrington Fair Grounds 12-8-2012
Near the main entrance gates of the fairgrounds sits the distinctive circular ticket booth pavilion that once welcomed thousands of excited race fans and fairgoers every single season. Today, thick overgrown vines wrap around the circular wooden roof deck, while cracked window panes and empty teller stations hint at the long passage of time.
The ultra-wide fisheye perspective captures the round geometry of the teal-painted booths as they fan out under the weathered wooden canopy. Fallen autumn leaves cover the cracked asphalt below, while scattered white clouds across a bright blue sky bring natural contrast to the fading architectural structure.
