Wandering through the open-air wooden grandstand concourse revealed unexpected bursts of vivid color left behind by local urban explorers and street artists over the years. Painted directly onto the faded vertical board-and-batten siding, this playful cartoon owl mural stands out boldly against decades of peeling gray paint, aged concrete, and dusty floorboards left behind.
Using an ultra-wide fisheye focal length exaggerated the curved interior wall, drawing your eyes along the wooden structural roof trusses overhead. The bright yellow owl character with oversized eyes, paired with spray-painted red chalices and geometric tags, injects distinct personality into this quiet, forgotten sports venue.
