Epcot Morocco 1-8-2015
The Morocco Pavilion in the World Showcase features some of the most intricate architectural detailing across Epcot. Stepping just outside the crowded main bazaar walkway gave me a wide, unobstructed angle looking up toward the prayer tower against an open midday sky filled with scattered white clouds and bright sunlight.
The clay-toned minaret rises straight into a deep blue sky, flanked by the lush green fronds of nearby palm trees. Warm, textured plaster walls frame the lower section of the composition, highlighting traditional geometric tilework, decorative archways, and carved detailing under the harsh, direct Florida sun along the pavilion courtyard.
