Epcot Illuminations 1-23-2015
Watching IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from the edge of the World Showcase lagoon is always a highlight of visiting Epcot. Finding an open viewing spot without trees blocking the burst radius takes some advance planning, but staking out the railing early paid off with a clear field of view.
This wide shot catches the pyrotechnic display firing right over the central globe. Vertical streaks of electric blue fans shoot outward alongside bursting white aerial shells, with warm orange ground charges reflecting across the dark lagoon water below. Silhouetted trees and lake reflections frame the mid-air explosions across the night sky.
