Barrington Fair Grounds 4-22-2013
This single-story wooden building served as the main administrative office during the active days of the Barrington Fair. Pushing through the thick weeds surrounding the exterior felt like uncovering a quiet time capsule, complete with weathered wooden shingles and hand-lettered signage still greeting visitors.
I shot this on an ultra-wide lens right up close to the double entry doors, angling up to catch the bright afternoon sun bursting over the roofline into a clean star flare. The brilliant blue sky and crisp shadows contrast against the warm, weathered gray wood and the classic Office Building sign above the door frame.
