Fireworks 003

The fireworks show at Lime Rock Park always delivers a great mix of color palettes against the quiet Connecticut countryside. I positioned the camera to frame shells breaking at different altitudes, watching the rhythm of the display through the viewfinder. Catching two distinct shells detonating in sync creates an energetic layering effect that single bursts rarely achieve.

This exposure highlights a dual burst with intense magenta and violet streamers arching over a dense gold and red star shell below. Fine luminous tendrils spread across the upper frame, contrasting with the fast-moving golden center at the core of the lower explosion. The rich jewel tones stand out vividly against the ink-black sky, delivering sharp color contrast and dynamic symmetry.
