Five Finger Death Punch 6-26-2017
Fronting Five Finger Death Punch at Mohegan Sun Arena, Ivan Moody brought relentless intensity to every single track on the setlist. Shooting metal vocalists requires anticipating dramatic gestures, especially when they lock eyes with the pit and drop heavy choruses. Getting this direct perspective right as Moody pointed toward the crowd created one of the standout frames from that night.
The shot frames Moody tightly from the chest up, gripping the microphone while his signature red face paint stands out under warm stage floodlights. His brass knuckle pendant and detailed sleeve tattoos are rendered in crisp detail against a simple, uncluttered dark backdrop. Soft golden backlight catches his arms and shoulders, framing the powerful, confrontational vocal delivery with bold clarity.
