Hot Air-balloon-7-22-2015
Early morning launches are prime time for hot air balloon photography because the atmosphere is calm and clear. As this colorful balloon caught a gentle breeze and climbed, direct sunlight struck the nylon side panels. I framed the balloon at an angle to capture both the shadowed curve and the sunlit surface.
The photograph showcases a spherical balloon decorated with yellow, red, turquoise, and violet rectangular blocks. Soft sun flare accents the side of the envelope, creating a warm highlight against the blue gradient sky. The wicker basket below trails a suspension line, completing a cheerful, uplifting aviation scene for your screen.
